Regrets on Replacements?

I think the idea of getting another marisol is an excellent idea. If you can afford it do it!

How about keeping the new one as you collector's Marisol?
She is already in oyur house! You could call AG and ask them to just send you the bill. This way you don't have to ship her back.

Also, even if your first Mari looses her hair, you can get her a new wig and a new do, but she will still have all the "vibes" you sent into her and will be your very special girl even if she has a new do (or even more just for that reason!)

Well if you look at my pictures.. yeah they are technically the "same" doll but they can in fact be very different! I personally like my "bigger" marisol.... but she was also the first one I received when she was first released... her face to me has more character to it and her wig consists of more hair! Its a lot thicker!

I see what you all mean. It's just so hard to decide. I love playing with her and she's really gotten me through some tough times the last couple of months. Though I never liked the name Marisol.

But the new "Marisol" seems even less like a Marisol to me. I guess I'll have to sleep on it one more night. [img]confused.gif[/img]

The other odd thing about the new one is that her box doesn't ahve the window, or the big Marisol Sun symbol sticker on it, just a regular and solid front AGT box lid. [img]eek.gif[/img]

Both of mine came in the regular dotted today box, but one has the sticker on it and the other one doesn't.... yeah I know EXACTLY what you mean though about one being so different from the other... sleep on it and look at them again in the morning! [img]smile.gif[/img] Got any pictures of them?

This might sound silly but ever since I was a small child, the first stuffed animal or doll I picked up I would have to buy, even if there was a "better" one on the shelf. I felt like if I put them back they would be sad and feel rejected, so the first one I get is the one I keep... to this day.

Nellie! That's exactly it! Ever since I called the CS guy, I've felt like I've betrayed her some how. Especially as I picked her out at the store.

Yep, I understand 100%... if you feel that way DO NOT get rid of her, you will find yourself lying awake at night thinking about it.
